Usually this happens at the wedding reception where everyone gathers to celebrate the union of a newlywed couple. Rules For The Wedding Party

There is no requirement for any members of the traditional wedding party to be present at the wedding. The main thing is sharing the joy of the couple as they start their new life together.

Consider including wedding reception program activities that will make the reception more meaningful. Parents, the best man, maid of honor, or guests may give banquet speeches to the couple.
